I love colors, lots and lots of colors. When time permits, I scrapbook. I pull out my colored papers, ribbons, embellishments, and flowers, along with my handy color wheel, and get to work combining colors to make lovely pages.
Yet, my love for color means nothing when it comes to mixing colors for candles and soaps. I never know which colors I should combine to make a new color. It's completely annoying to no end, and nothing like my scrapbooking hobby, which allows me to simply coordinate already created colors. That is why I was thrilled to stumble upon Peak Candle Supplies' Color Formulas (click here).
Peak Candles shows a long list of colored candles and the exact proportions of candle dye to achieve the desired color. I actually gave it a test today. Batch after batch of candles came out the exact color I wanted for each scent. No guessing, no horrible trial and errors - just peaceful, colorful candle making.
