Anti-Itch Salve
Oil infusion:
½ part dried comfrey
½ part dried chickweed
2 parts oil
Infuse the herbs in the oil using one of the methods discussed previously.
Salve:
16 ounces infused oil (see above)
2 ounces Beeswax
1tsp Vitamin E
Melt the wax at 150 degrees F and add the infused oil. Remove from heat and add vitamin E. Blend well and pour into shallow metal tins. Allow to cool. To use, rub warm fingers on salve to slightly melt the salve and rub onto affected area. This works great on poison ivy and oak.
