At long last...handmade soaps from Asia. So what's been taking me so long to post this? Mainly a language barrier. First, I have to look for handmade soaps on sites written in languages that are foreign to me. Then I have to determine if the soap is truly handmade in Asia, or if it is an image of a soap from another part of the world on an Asian shopping site or blog. It's not easy, and I still don't know if I am even right in my assessment.
So, here are some really pretty soaps made by what appears to be very talented Asian artisans. If I got something wrong, and these are made by someone in another part of the world, no worries. Your soap is still awesome!

Next stop of the Sunday Spotlight World Tour is Oceania. For those who have been out of school for awhile, Australia and surrounding countries are part of the continent of Oceania rather than simply called Australia. So if you are a soapmaker in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and surrounding areas, please post a link for me to find your shop so I can feature you here next week. Or post your soaps on the Sunday Spotlight Flickr Photo Pool with a link to your site.
